1. Tell us a bit about yourself and the business you are working in.
– My name is James and I am the Head of Global Sales at The Reward Collection and I have been at TRC for over 3 years and we are the biggest Card Linking and Open Banking aggregator in the world right now.
2. What inspired you to pursue a career in Affiliate Marketing?
– We are in Card Linking and CLO and Open Banking are going to shape the future for frictionless rewards and loyalty in the next 2 years, an industry I am very passionate about.
3. What do you believe sets your approach apart from others in the affiliate marketing space?
– Card Linking can live in the affiliate world but frictionless card sales at MID level, means a reach of over ½ Billion closed customers of the biggest banks in the world, at no cost and no risk.
4. Do you focus on specific industries or products within your niche, and why?
– B2B and B2C. Health, Beauty, Fashion, Gym, F&B Grocery, Hotels and Days out do very well with us as a whole. What sets us apart from traditional affiliate marketing is our ability to work offline as well as online.
5. What challenges do you face in growing your Affiliate Marketing business?
– In CLO, Double Dipping and Incrementality are the buzz word challenges, get in touch as to how we negate these issues.
6. What do you believe are the key factors in building successful, long-term relationships with brands? Do you want to share a very successful campaign?
– We have many 6.7 figure campaigns. Huge campaigns with Safestyle, Brewdog, Iherb, Chopstix, Zip World, Canva, MacDonalds, Pizza Hut and 100s more. Key factors are honesty, transparency and a mutual appetite to work well together.
7. Have you ever ended a partnership with a brand? Why?
– We have had campaigns run a natural 3/6 month campaign and works very well, then a break and review and see if the new or existing customers is the focus and was it achieved and if is, we have done our job. 88% of brands stay with us for longer than the agree initial campaign.
8. Is there something else that you want to share?
– We are always looking for medium to large brands that want to Attract new customers, target lapsed customers, approach competitor customers and increase spend and frequency of spend on existing brands.
